At some point in the not-so-distant future, we may have tools -either diagnostic tests or brain-imaging studies- that enable us to create accurate neurochemical portraits of ourselves alogn multiple axes. We’ll be able to say with real confidence tha we have unusually high serontonin levels, a dopamine system that is easily reset, slightly less testosterone than the average male. This portrait will look something like the old hit-point system devised by the creators of Dungeons and Dragons, whereby your character would have 15 poitns of dexterity, 12 for charisma, and 7 for wisdom.
