Alguno de vosotros probablemente notasteis que ayer por la mañana mi blog estuvo off-line. El problema principal es que el isp donde esta alojado el blog sufrió un tormenta y se les fue la luz, aguantaron lo que pudieron a través de generadores y sais, pero al final, se les terminó el combustible, y las condiciones metereologicas no invitaban a salir a la calle por más combustible.
Resulta bastante curioso leer los informes de los responsables del hosting:

We may be dead in the water here shortly. Corvallis (and most of western Oregon) has had some crazy wind storms this afternoon that have caused the power to go out some time ago. We’ve been running on gens, but are about to run out of gas.
Attempts to get additional supplies have been turned around by authorities. The highways are in bad shape due to fallen trees, high water, and down power lines.
Reps at the power company tell us to expect the outage to last all night.
We’re doing what we can. We wish we were already at the new datacenter we’ve been building. Crazy irony that our move over there is scheduled for tomorrow night.

9 am here. We’re into the 16th hour. Still no power. There’s hope though, as we can see that the power is back on a couple of blocks away.
