Parece que la Paramount ya esta empezando a moverse para producir la undécima película de la saga Star Trek y ha contactado a Patrick Stewart para ver si estaría interesado en retomar su papel como Capitán Jean-Luc Picard, a lo cual el contesto que se ve muy viejo para el papel, dado que la Paramount proyecta la película para dentro de 3 o 4 años.
«Weighty people in Hollywood have come up with a very interesting proposition,» Stewart, 65, told the site. «But they told me it was still two, three or four years down the road, by which time I would only be able to sit in the captain’s chair and not have the energy to get out of it!»
Estas declaraciones parecen confirmar que la Paramount sigue interesada en producir Star Trek. De todas formas, ¿muy viejo Patrick Stewart?, que se lo digan William Shatner…
