Ars Technica analiza la bajada de venta de entradas al cine, me ha gustado el siguiente párrafo

Movie theaters stem from a period in which it was simply not possible to see «moving pictures» except to go to a specialized viewing location, aka, the cinema. As TV came into our homes, the big screen, the social experience, and the booming sound of the theater still kept seats filled. Now, however, much of the thrill is gone, and if the experience of going to the movies isn’t great, then a movie that doesn’t look to be a knock-your-socks-off release has that much less pull.
